The Rodtech Click Standard Full Kit is designed to allow you to power sweep and traditionally chimney sweep lined and unlined flues with a range from 125mm (5 inches) up to 500mm (20 inches) and above. The power sweeping whip will allow you to sweep all types of flue cleaner than you can by using a traditional chimney brush. This professional chimney sweep equipment is not designed for the amateur chimney sweep. We have tried to describe the chimney sweeping equipment to the best of our ability and included as much application information as possible.
There are chimney sweeping courses available from us, which can give more practical advice and hands-on experience on all of our professional chimney sweeping tools.

Each selection of rods covers 10M (32'+) allowing adequate height for most homes and includes the 12mm (1/2"-), 15mm (5/8") and 18mm (3/4"). This will allow you to sweep from 125mm (5 inches) and upwards with rod thickness sufficient for the largest household flues. These rods are able to be used for rotary sweeping as well as manual chimney sweeping (with our old style Click brushes). All of the Rodtech Click power sweeping whips connect to all of the Rodtech Click rods (except mini-Click although we do offer an adapter to allow this) enabling maximum flexibility when choosing the correct chimney cleaning tools for the required application.
The 12mm (just under 1/2") rods are mainly used for lined flues associated with stove and insert cleaning, but they can equally be used in ductwork cleaning. When using this chimney sweeping equipment for chimney flue cleaning you will ideally use the 12" (300mm) power sweeping whip or the more aggressive 12" (300mm) Super Scrub whip.
The 15mm (5/8") rods are primarily used for power sweeping flues 200mm (8") and above. It would be considered normal to use the 24" (600mm) power sweeping whip or the more aggressive 24" (600mm) Super scrub whip in this configuration. These rods and associated heads have been found to work brilliantly as part of air duct cleaning equipment.
The 18mm (3/4") chimney sweeping rod is much stiffer than the other rods, and are mainly used in straight flues greater than 300mm (12"), creosote removal ("deglazing"), and as part of duct cleaning equipment.
All of our Rodtech Click rods connect to all of the power sweeping tools and whips (with the exception of the mini click system)
The 12" (300mm) Super Scrub will enable you to sweep lined and unlined appliances from 125-200mm (5 to 8 inches).
It will also allow you to remove heavy flaky tar deposits in Stainless Steel lined flues, together with removing nesting debris in steel lined flues. This head will also allow you to clean tar from spark screens of chimney covers.
The 12" (300mm) Power Brush will enable you to sweep lined and unlined appliances from 125-200mm (5 to 8 inches). This head is our most maneuverable and its design will allow you to sweep through narrow entrance gaps such as damper throats and baffles. Modern replaceable baffles of less robust material should be removed to prevent damage.
This head will also allow you to clean tar from chimney cap spark screens. Both this and the 12" (300mm) Super Scrub will make a flue liner cleaner than traditional equipment used in hand chimney sweeping.
The 24" (600mm) Power Brush will allow you to sweep from 200-500mm (8-20 inches), its design enables you to get through tight baffles and throat plates with ease. The ease in which this product can be used making sure the flue is rotary power swept is only made better by the way you can easily change the strands making sure your equipment stays in tip-top condition. Usual strand replacement interval is over 100 uses. It centers itself when rotated, for rectangular flues reverse direction at the top of flue before power sweeping back down.
The Bird Nest Remover has two main uses; as a bird nest remover also as a creosote and tar remover on all flues other than steel lined.
The Chain tar removing tool is specifically designed to remove tar and creosote build-up within clay lined flues and from chimney pots. It has also been found to be an excellent bird nest remover in these types of liners. It is not to be used in Stainless steel liners or unlined flues.
The retrieving tool will allow you to hook chimney sweeping brushes and chimney sweeping rods left by amateurs as well as being able to dislodge nesting debris if required.
The power sweeping Click drill adapters come with and without buttons dependent upon your method of sweeping. Spare drill adapters are included so one is always at hand.
This Standard kit will allow the professional to sweep nearly all domestic flues, even where access is somewhat limited. It comes with 1 rod bag, 1 head cover, and spare whip strands for every head supplied. This kit can be expanded upon at any time but is a very good base that will cover most day to day work encountered. We do supply adaptors that will connect ButtonLok, Rovac and RoKleen products to our equipment.

Our Rodtech Click products come with a 12 month replacement Warranty. The warranty covers all Non-wearable parts and joints on our Rodtech Click range. It does NOT cover misuse of equipment or when the equipment is used with the tile breakers It does not cover parts that will wear with use, such as head inserts (Strands, Chain and Wire etc) You must read the manual for guidance. In the unlikely event you will ever need to use this warranty, you will be required to return the product to Rodtech or a Rodtech Agent before a replacement part is supplied (subject to being used in accordance with our user manual). Due to extruded plastic properties it never possible to guarantee the straightness of the rods, however they will still function to a high standard.
The Rodtech Click range offers high quality products designed for power sweeping, manual sweeping (hand sweeping), drain cleaning and duct cleaning via an adapter standard chimney cleaning brushes, drain cleaning ends and duct cleaning brushes can be fitted to the click system meaning that there is no twisting the rods together and them getting locked which makes the sweeping process much quicker. The rods are solid and the ends are crimped to the rods making the best quality available.
