Each selection of rods covers 10M allowing adequate height for most homes and includes the 12mm (1/2"-), 15mm (5/8"), and 18mm (3/4"). This will allow you to sweep from 125mm (5 inches) and upwards with rod thickness to some of the largest household flues (additional heads may be purchased with this kit). These rods are able to be used for rotary sweeping as well as manual chimney sweeping. All of the Rodtech Click power sweeping brushes connect to all of the Rodtech Click rods enabling maximum flexibility when choosing the correct chimney cleaning tools for the required application.
The 12mm rods are mainly used for lined flues associated with stove cleaning, but they can equally be used in ductwork cleaning. When using this chimney sweeping equipment for chimney flue cleaning you will ideally use the 300mm power brush or the 300mm Super Scrub chimney liner brushes.
The 15mm rods are primarily used for power sweeping flues 200mm and above. It would be considered normal to use the 600mm power sweeping brush or 600mm Super scrub brush in this configuration. These rods and associated heads have been found to work brilliantly as part of air duct cleaning equipment.
The 18mm chimney sweeping rod is much stiffer than the other rods, and are mainly used in straight flues greater than 300mm, Inglenooks and as part of duct cleaning equipment.

The 300mm Power Brush will enable you to sweep lined and unlined appliances from 125-200mm. This head is very good as its design will allow you to sweep through narrow entrance gaps such as throat plates and baffles.
This head will also allow you to clean tar from Bird Guards. Both this and the 300mm Super Scrub will make a flue liner cleaner than traditional flue liner equipment used in hand sweeping.
The 600mm Power Brush will allow you to sweep from 200-500mm (8-20 inches), its design enables you to get through some tight baffles and throat plates with ease. The ease in which this product can be used making sure the flue is rotary power swept is only made better by the way you can easily change the strands making sure your equipment stays in tip-top condition.
The power sweeping drill adapter comes with a button so you can top sweep as well as sweep conventionally from the bottom. A second drill adapter without button allows speedy sweeping from the bottom only as friction will hold while spinning and pushing the rods up or coming back down.
This large kit will allow the professional to sweep most domestic flues, even where access is somewhat limited, it comes with very little in the way of accessories and is expected that the user will look to expand upon this base with ease. We do supply adapters that will connect ButtonLok, Rovac, and RoKleen products to our equipment.

Due to extruded plastic properties it is never possible to guarantee the straightness of the rods, however they will still function to a high standard.
The Rodtech Click range offers high quality products designed for power sweeping, manual sweeping (hand sweeping), drain cleaning and duct cleaning via an adapter standard chimney cleaning brushes, drain cleaning ends and duct cleaning brushes can be fitted to the click system meaning that there is no twisting the rods together and them getting locked which makes the sweeping process much quicker. The rods are solid and the ends are crimped to the rods making the best quality available.
