The Rodtech Click Standard Open Fire Kit is designed to allow you to power sweep and traditionally chimney sweep open fires with a range from 8 inches (200mm) up to 18 inches (450mm). The flue brush will allow you to sweep all types of flue cleaner than you can by using a traditional chimney brush. This professional chimney sweep equipment is not designed for the amateur chimney sweep in the kit form. We have tried to describe the chimney sweeping equipment to the best of our ability and included as much application as is possible.
There are chimney sweeping courses available from us (at our place or yours), which can give more practical advice and hands on experience on all of our professional chimney sweeping tools.

The kit comes with 5/8" (15mm) rods and covers over 32' (10M) allowing adequate height for most homes, should you wish to purchase additional rods with this kit let us know. This will allow you to sweep from 7 inches (175mm) up to 18 x 18 inches (450mm square) . These rods are able to be used for rotary sweeping as well as manual chimney sweeping. All of the Rodtech Click power sweeping brushes connect to all of the Rodtech Click rods enabling maximum flexibility when choosing the correct chimney cleaning tools for the required application.
The 15mm rods are mainly used for lined flues associated most often with fireplace cleaning, but they can equally be used in ductwork cleaning. When using this chimney sweeping equipment for chimney flue cleaning you will ideally use the 600mm power brush or the more aggressive 600mm Super Scrub chimney liner brushes.
All of our Rodtech Click rods connect to all of the Click power sweeping brushes (with the exception of the mini click system). There are adapters that allow mixing with ButtonLok tools or rods.
The 24" (600mm) Power Brush will enable you to sweep lined and unlined fireplaces from 7" to 18x18". This head is very functional from below or above as its design will allow you to sweep through narrow entrance gaps such as throat plates and baffles. This head will also allow you to clean creosote from spark arrestor screens on chimney caps. Both this and the 24" (600mm) MEDUSA Super Scrub will make a flue liner cleaner than traditional flue liner equipment used in hand sweeping.
The power sweeping drill bit comes with a button so you can top sweep as well as sweep conventionally from the bottom.
This open fire kit will allow the professional to sweep most day-to-day encountered lined flues, even where access is somewhat limited. This kit can be expanded upon at any time to cover smaller and larger flues, but is a very good first set. We do supply adapters that will connect ButtonLok, Rovac and RoKlean products to our equipment.

Our Rodtech Click products come with a 12 month replacement warranty. The warranty covers all Non-wearable parts and joints on our Rodtech Click range. It does NOT cover misuse of equipment or when the equipment is used with the tile breakers It does not cover parts that will wear with use, such as head inserts (Strands, Chain and Wire etc) You must read the manual for guidance. In the unlikely event you will ever need to use this warranty, you will be required to return the product to Rodtech or a Rodtech Agent before a replacement part is supplied (subject to being used in accordance with our user manual). Due to extruded plastic properties it never possible to guarantee the straightness of the rods, however they will still function to a high standard.
The Rodtech Click range offers high quality products designed for power sweeping, manual sweeping (hand sweeping), drain cleaning and duct cleaning via an adapter standard chimney cleaning brushes, drain cleaning ends and duct cleaning brushes can be fitted to the click system meaning that there is no twisting the rods together and them getting locked which makes the sweeping process much quicker. The rods are solid and the ends are crimped to the rods making the best quality available.
