OEM Switch for repair of failed switches. Fits all models of Rovac vacuums. Green light indicates power to switch. Reminder to always be sure, on 3 motor vacs, that motor 1 is functioning before turning on motor 2 and 3.
Install directions:
**Disconnect power** For those who haven't changed switches previously refer to pictures below. On a new switch you will see there are two tabs along the short edges that allow installation of the switch into the hole on the power head. If you take a putty knife (final picture) and press it between the soft black rubber of the switch cover and the harder black plastic of the head your knife will contact those tabs and press them down such that the switch can be “tipped” out of the hole. Once freed there will be maybe an inch of play. Take note of the switch on/off orientation and wire tab locations and match it up to the new switch and install. You should then be able to push it back into the hole and the tabs will grip and you are done. Test run the switch. If not working then there is a wire loose in the interior of the head. 98% of the time when a motor stops working or won't turn on it’s the switch.
